CHRIS BESECKER HAILS FROM THE GREAT STATE OF NEW JERSEY, BUT CURRENTLY RESIDES IN THE SMALL TOWN OF RED HOOK, NEW YORK WITH HIS DOGS LOLA AND MILA, BEAUTIFUL DEAF WIFE ANETA, AND
TWO KIDS REMI AND SURI.
Chris is the owner, operator & creative head of Twin Elephant Post, a boutique post shop that expands and contracts to meet the needs of any job size.
He began his career on set learning the ins and outs of all facets of production. Realizing his story telling talents were better served in the post production world, he moved on to become an award winning film and television editor who's work combines a strong use of narrative with a keen eye for the aesthetic. Previous commercial clients include MTV, BET, E!, Spotify, Covergirl, Coca Cola, Nike, Adidas, Phillips Lighting, Mobil, ESPN, The North Face, Smartwater, Bareminerals, West Elm, Ikea, Dove, Aflac, Ford, Samsung, P&G, Cisco, Capitol One, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, Target, Amazon, Refinery29, Nowness, Maybelline, Remy Martin, Nordstrom, Walt Disney, USA Networks, NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, National Geographic, Nintendo, AT&T, LG, Verizon, Discovery, Best Buy...to name a couple. Aside from his work in the commercial and branded space, he has edited feature films such as Visitors, a critically acclaimed art film directed by Godfrey Reggio, director of the a Koyaanisquatsi Trilogy, and presented by Stephen Soderberg, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. He also edited the critically acclaimed Conflict series about conflict photographers, which won multiple Telly Awards as well as a Webby Award for best documentary series.
